1. GoPro HERO3 120fps Skatepark Test - stephendiaz.com


    Wow, what a capable little machine this camera is! I had a great time taking it to the skatepark and rounding up some locals to help me test out the 720p 120 frames per second feature. I shot entirely on that mode, and edited in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Motion. I had a great time editing to Olove’s song “Part Out”, with all the glitching and stuttering it made for a seriously fun edit. Ok, also I made it a goal to get my hands into After Effects a little as the winter progressed and with this edit I feel like I learned a TON. This was my first time using After Effects and it really blows me away how much you can do with that program. ESPECIALLY, because there are a million and a half tutorials for anything you’d like to do on it! Coming from Premiere Pro it wasn’t too hard to figure out the basics, but some things did take me forever to figure out!
    Here’s all the tutorials I watched to create some of the effects in the video, copied straight from my YouTube history. Not all of them are great, you’ll have to weed through the one’s that’ll work for you. Basically, I would just watch one till I learned what I needed then start making stuff up from there:
